If the rumor mill is to be trusted — and it rarely is — we should be on the look out for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game from Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City developers Rocksteady Studios.  The rumor is being reported by a number of outlets, and seems to have originated with Paul Gale Network.  If you’re now asking yourself, “who in the blue fuck is Paul Gale and why does he have a network?” you are not alone.  It would seem that Paul is a game-playing, game-writing, personal training, voice acting, award-winning-pumpkin-carving, martial arts master who also makes t-shirts.  Pumpkin-carving prowess aside, Paul has written for some big gaming sites, magazines and shows (1UP, Nintendo Power, and X-Play among them), so it’s fair to assume he knows some people in the industry.

This should, of course, all be taken with an enormous grain of salt, as nothing has been confirmed.  But it would seem a fitting IP for Rocksteady to take on; they took great care to draw mostly on the classic ’90s Batman: The Animated Series for Arkham Asylum and City, so work centered around another beloved ’90s cartoon doesn’t seem like a stretch.  Only time will tell, but I for one would absolutely love to hack and slash my way through robotic Foot Soldiers with the unmatched fluidity of Rocksteady’s melee combat.

Also, Partners in Kryme should do the soundtrack.
